Cory Booker

Cory Booker was raised in Harrington Park, New Jersey, his father was an IBM executive and Harrington Park was a white suburb. Cory and his brother were the only blacks in their school.
Cory Booker is the current mayor of Newark, New Jersey.

Mr. Booker wants to know where the name came from and he asks his father Cary Alfred Booker. His father tells him he does not know. On with the quest.

Mr. Cary Alfred Booker was raised by a single mother, Jessie Lucille Booker. We find out that Jessie's parents were Frank Booker and Mary Booker.

Frank Booker was a fireman for the Southern Railway and he traveled quite a bit. This is as far as the Booker name is taken. Also why did Mary divorce Frank?

Next the Booker family wants to know about their white ancestry. With the assistance of DNA testing find out about Dr. Stephen H. Brown, Physician and Michael Hislop his 3rd gr-grandson.
